Koos Kruger has 25+ years of progressive experience in management, finance and operations. A chartered accountant with a proven history of growing both top and bottom lines of businesses. He has a broad industry background in health care, construction, financial services, manufacturing, fast moving consumable goods and professional services. Koos was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and began his career at KPMG in 1986. As a chartered accountant he worked with small to medium-size businesses helping many entrepreneurs with the success of their businesses.

In the mid 1990’s he moved into the corporate setting as a finance executive working for SAB Miller and Standard Bank, where he led many large-scale transformation projects including the implementation of SAP in both organisations. In 2000 he moved back to KPMG and was responsible for one of their consulting practices. Over a two-year period he quadrupled the size of the business and some of his clients included HSBC, BHP Billiton, Allianz Insurance, Munich Re, Nedlloyd and South African Government.

Koos moved to Sydney, Australia where he currently lives, at the end of 2004. Today he works with clients through his consulting businesses helping businesses with practical solutions on how to solve complex business problems in an easy manner. Kruger Services specialises in business advice and exit planning services for business owners of small/medium businesses.He holds memberships with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Exit Planning Institute.



Rob Raine has 30 + years of hands on experience in starting and growing businesses, management, international trade, sales, marketing and operations experience in strategically growing both revenue and bottom line profit.

He has a broad industry experience across large and small, business working across Information Technology, business growth consulting, international trade and export development and international marketing, automotive, customer loyalty management and strategy, employee engagement and productivity, small manufacturing and professional services.

At Gallup Consulting Rob was lead partner on employee engagement and customer experience consulting, to drive business growth, responsible for St George Bank, Air New Zealand, New Zealand Post. He also consultant at PWC business growth consulting, working with Telstra, on sales performance improvements, David Jones sales improvement and customer experience through employee engagement.

Executive Assistant

Linze Kruger is 21 years old and is Koos’ daughter.

She is the executive assistant and admin for Business Exit Companion as well as the website developer and creator.

She is currently studying a Bachelor’s of Christian Theology and is actively involved in the community, particularly with youth aged 15 – 18.

She also runs her own photography business.



Business Exit Companion is a performance-oriented Business Advisory and Exit Planning firm for small and medium sized businesses. Founded in July, 2012, we have provided services to businesses around Australia. We work with businesses of all sizes to transform their Business Vision into Business Reality.
